"Kiss Me Stupid" is the only full-length record from Joe McGinty's orchestral pop project, Baby Steps. One of the first bands to explore "orchestral pop" in the 90s, Baby Steps was a seminal band in the East Village music scene, sharing the stage with Nada Surf, Lloyd Cole, Ladybug Transistor, Of Montreal and many others.
